National Creche Scheme

DAMRI proudly participates in the National Crèche Scheme, recognizing the growing need for childcare support among working women in today’s changing family dynamics. As more women enter the job market and joint family systems give way to nuclear families, there is a crucial demand for quality childcare for young children while their mothers are at work. Our crèche program provides a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their well-being and development while their mothers pursue employment opportunities. Even during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we remained steadfast in our commitment by distributing essential dry food items to the children, a testament to our dedication to their welfare. This program is made possible through the support of the Directorate of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Government of West Bengal. At DAMRI, we believe in empowering women by offering them the support they need to balance work and family life. Through the National Crèche Scheme, we not only provide childcare but also contribute to the economic empowerment of women, fostering a more inclusive and supportive community.
